Do you prefer wood mounted stamps or the clear/acrylic kind?

Guess I like the clear ones better. I'm able to see exatically where I'm stamping at.

The ones I have are from JoAnns or Hobby Lobby

I am not a stamp person, I have tons of stamps from my early purchases but nothing... useful. Any way I prefer the acrylic clear stamps. I have and use wood mounted, acrylic, and foam stamps and I use them all, occasionally.

Do you prefer wood mounted stamps or the clear/acrylic kind? I like the rubber stamps, but like them to be cling foam on the back instead of mounted to a wood block...anything that isn't too bulky I guess.

Where do you buy most of your stamps? Craft store? Direct sales co? Most of mine are Stampin' Up stamps.

I don't think I really have a preference either, but like Robin said, the clear ones make it easier to see where you're stamping! I buy them at JoAnns, Hobby Lobby, Michaels... same place I buy all my scrappy stuff. lol.

The thing I have a problem with is choosing the right type of ink. I never really took the time to learn about the different inks and what they're good for.

Do you prefer wood mounted stamps or the clear/acrylic kind? They are both nice, but I prefer the unmounted ones since they take up less space.

Where do you buy most of your stamps? Craft store? Direct sales co? The ones I have are mainly from craft stores like JoAnn's, Michaels, AC Moore.
