When you scrapbook?

Anytime I scrap while I am at home I start feeling guilty. I feel like I am ignoring DD and DH.

Even though they both sit in the room with me while I scrap and I get up several times through out a page to play and interact with DD I still feel like I am just not being a good mother.

So do you feel guilty when you scrap at home?

Nope- it is my time to decompress. It is my own little stress reliever. My hubby has his hobbies, I spend all day with the kids, so when I take the time to scrap, I actually feel good about it because I know if I have an outlet to de-stress, I am a better Mom. And it makes me happy, which makes me a better Mom too.

I try and not feel guilty. I usually wait til Kenzie goes to bed so I can give scrapping my complete attention. the only time I generally feel guitly is when I go to a crop, I feel bad about being at work all day, seeing her for about 15 minutes, and then rushing off to play.

Nope, I don't. I usually scrap when everyone's gone in the mornings & dd is still sleeping. Or at night when the kids are in bed and dh is watching tv or something. Occasionally I will in the afternoons but the boys are playing, dh is working on something of his own if it's the weekend or at work and Layla is taking her nap.
So it's not like anyone "needs" me at those times but like Chanda said, it makes me feel good to get them done and it's ME time.

Well I guess I feel guilty because I leave for work aroun 7:30 and usually dont get home until 5:00. So during the week I only get to spend from 5 to 8 with DD and then on the weekends when I get some down time to scrap I feel guilty b/c I havent spent enough time with her, but I want to scrap b/c like someone said above it is me time and it is a de-stresser, but then again I want to be able to spend all the time that I spend scrapping with DD! What a delima....
