B: South Beach protein bar, 2 clementines
S#1: Cup of chai tea with about 1/2 cup skim milk added
S#2: Cheese & crackers, a pear
L: 1/2 peanut butter sandwich on whole-grain bread, baby carrots, milk
S#1: 1 mini bag Smart Pop microwave popcorn (21 carbs), 28 almonds
S#2: 1/2 Kashi whole-grain cookie, glass of milk
D: Don't know
S: Baked quesadilla made with whole-grain tortilla, black beans & cheese, with salsa

I typically eat a bit more on Fridays than most days, since I work an extra hour on Fri and so my day starts earlier than usual.

The chai with milk is a great idea! I heard also that numbers are better with 2% or higher, because the fat helps break down the sugars slower. I dunno if it's true or not.

Also, lucky me... my fasting numbers have gone down. I now have until Monday to keep them down and avoid meds. Here's my meal plan for today:

Breakfast: 1 egg overeasy, 3 sausage links, 1 wheat waffle w/cinnamon, 1 piece of string cheese, 1 cup decaf earl grey

snack 1: 1 piece of whole wheat toast, 2tbsp avocado mash (avocado + salt + chopped garlic = crazy delicious!!!), 1 slice meunster cheese, 2 thin slices tomato.

lunch: pesto chicken wrap with cheddar, avocado mash, tomato, romaine lettuce, and handmade wheat tortilla.

snack 2: 2 tbsp peanut butter, 1 banana, 12 almonds

snack 3: 1 blueberry greek yogurt, 8 wheat pretzel sticks, 1oz. cheddar

dinner: chopped cobb salad, veggie lentil soup

snack 4: edamame and 12 almonds.
