And this diet was great the first few days. I felt great had tons of energy. Now I feel like crap most of the time. I have been getting what feel like contractions and back pain. I feel like I always have a stomach ache. I feel like I am always obsessing about when the next time I can eat is and what it will be. I miss my Dunkin Donuts occasional iced caramel coffee with cream and sugar. So far I have had it once and did a medium. My number were slightly high the next reading but not too horrible.

The good news is my weight gain has stopped at this point. THANK GOODNESS. I am up 30 lbs this pregnancy.

Only 10 more weeks........

If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn
There is no known explanation for my losses.

Hi Bobbie! Thanks for the link to the board. I am here now too.

Sorry you have GD with this little guy It is tough.

As far as your coffee goes...make your own at home. You can get Sugar-free flavored creamers from Coffee Mate or International Delight and they are pretty good...and still sweet And 8oz of milk only has 15g of carbs so you can still do your cream if you want your coffee extra milky...that is how I take mine.

Thanks Bobbie for the link...I'm here now, too (as you can see).

I hope you get to feeling better soon...the diet is supposed to help you feel better not the opposite, huh? The obsessing sounds awful, too...

Big hugs, Bobbie. Gestational Diabetes is difficult. I remember missing my mochas and chocolate. At least this is only temporary!
