Hi ladies, I am new to this forum and am due Jan. 16 with my first (hurry up little guy!!). We are expecting a little boy.

A question for those black/white moms & dads - when does the baby's color start looking like the color that he or she will remain?

I'm anxious to know what our LO will look like! At my 18 week u/s I had a 3d pic taken and his face looked exactly like DH. I'm curious about his skin color because I know mixed babies can range from white to black, and anything in between!

She's sorta stayed the same color she was born with (see my siggy) when I saw Lynda at the first u/s I thought I knew exactly what she was going to look like! I thought I knew her skin color, eyes and hair boy the only thing I was right on was the eyes! lol

So you wont really know until you see him!!!

Congrats on the baby! Yall have any names for him?

One of my friend's has 1/2 black and 1/2 white children and they were born light and as they got older, they got darker.. Her kids are so beautiful..

I'm kinda the opposite

My kids are 1/2 Mexican, 1/4 German, and 1/4 Filipino.. when they were born they were dark.. As if they were born with a tan.. After a few months, they lightened up to a olive skin tone.. But I do think my son will be alot lighter then my daughter.. More white then olive.. But I think he'll be able to hold a tan..

Im white and Brightons father is black and as you can see in my siggy Brighton is very light/white looking with blonde hair and blue eyes. His hair was actually a little darker when he was born and has lightened up as hes gotten older. He will be 2 in January. Congrats on your baby!!!
