Who has a tilted uterus?
I had one of our infertility docs mention something about it when we were station overseas years and years ago. But she wasn't 100% sure it was tilted. Well the more doctors I have seen over the last couple of years are noticing it right away. I sure hope, it's not a sign that it's getting worse.
But I talked to her about getting a doppler to use, and wanted to know how far along I would be able to hear. She said with my uterus it would be around 13 weeks. Anyone have trouble finding the heart beat?

On a side note, she said that my pelvis was good for giving birth! I guess that would explain why I had my son out in 1 1/2 pushes lol! It would have only been one, but they made me stop because of the tearing!

I have a tilted uterus too. As the pregnancy goes on it rights itself. I don't know when you start hearing the heartbeat with a tilted uterus. I know we heard it around 10w with my girls, but I was measuring ahead by then. I don't remember how far ahead.

Thank you peimum for my siggie

I have a tilted uterus too.. I think it's actually pretty common. I have been able to use the doppler for about a week now.

I have a tilted and "low" uterus, I think we heard the heartbeat at about 7 and a half weeks.

We are seeing the midwife at 9w3d and I'm hoping we'll be able to hear the HB with the doppler even though I have a tilted uterus.

We couldn't hear from the outside, but with the "magic wand" they used for the ultrasound we were able to hear it from the inside! That's when it brought tears to my eyes!! I love that sound!!
