Hello friends! I haven't been on in a few weeks but I'm about 10 weeks tomorrow and I started throwing up a couple days ago. This is no biggie, I've done this in every pregnancy. This morning though I threw up chunks of blood. The doctor doesn't get in for another hour and I'm concerned. Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm sorry, I don't have any experience with this! It definitely sounds like it warrants a visit to the doc, or even the ER if it's still happening! I hope everything is okay!

Is the blood bright red or brownish-blackish? Definitely still warrants a call to the doc, but I think I've heard that bright red is less concerning because it would be coming from your throat instead of your stomach?

The only thing I'm wondering is if you recently quit smoking. I stopped smoking the day I found out I was pregnant and now I have to endure a wonderful cough. I've heard of people coughing up blood, not sure about throwing it up though.
