I think I'm sort of in denial about being pregnant. I mean, yes, I've put on 3kg, there's no denying that. And my belly is sticking out so far I look more pregnant sometimes than I even am. But I just feel a bit like I'm a faker... Like somehow I've managed to convince a whole lot of people that I'm pregnant, and it's going to be a doozie to undo when they figure out I'm not. DH says - what about the pregnancy test? And the u/s? But it's just so surreal now, I can't really believe it.

I have the same feelings sometimes!! It is unbelievably surreal a lot of times.. For example, people at work are asking how I am feeling constantly. Today someone asked me and I said "Yeah why?" Completely forgetting

I feel that way too! I don't have any movement, and it's not like I puke all the time or have weird cravings...I am just normal, but my belly sticks out further. I haven't really gained any weight and I have seen/heard the baby twice already! I guess it won't be that real until I can actually feel the baby and see an actual large bump. Or maybe when I deliver. HA HA. I spoke with a friend who said this was the hardest part for her-knowing she was pregnant but not feeling any movement or anything for months, and she didn't start showing until she was about 24 weeks!

I'm not really in denial, but it hasn't really hit me yet. It is still hard for me to believe that we are going to have another baby. It gets more real for me when we find out the gender, pick out names, and start getting things ready for the baby to be here.

Ha, I know what you mean!Even after 2 ultrasounds, and expanding belly, and frequenly listening to the h/b on doppler, it's still seems surreal. When we announced our pregnancy a couple of weeks ago, and everyone started congratulating us, it just felt *weird*. Maybe I was just thinking how when you tell people you're pregnant, they go nuts and get all excited, even before they've seen any "evidence".
