So this is my 4th pregnancy past 15 weeks. I've had BH before and with DD2 I had PTL at 28 weeks. Currently I am 23 weeks tomorrow and I am getting kind of worried about what I am feeling. I've had a lot of BH the last few days but nothing painful, just noticing the tightening. Now I'm starting to feel pain with them. Sometimes a very low cramping other times a lot of pressure. I'm not sure if it's him changing positions or what not but I'm starting to get worried. Anyone experience anything like this? Any suggestions? WWYD?

I've been paranoid about this as well. I delivered DS at 39 1/2 weeks with absolutely no issues (although I did have a lot of Braxton Hicks with him). At my 19 week ultrasound, my cervix was slightly shorter than they like to see...it was 3.2 and they like to see at least 3.5, so I'm going back next week to have it re-checked. I've had lots of Braxton Hicks off and on (not really painful, but sometimes uncomfortable) , and pressure...but I can't tell if it's actual pelvic pressure or just my hip bones relaxing.
So yeah, that was probably really unhelpful...but I'm kind of in the same boat. I keep feeling nervous about it but hoping it's nothing. If I get really worried I will definitely call my doctor though.

I'm feeling a lot of BH and pressure, too, but have no previous history of PTL and had both the BHs and pressure in my last pregnancy, too. But, given your history of PTL, I would say it can't hurt to call your DR and see what they think. Better safe than sorry is always my motto. Most likely it's nothing, so I wouldn't be too worried about it, but definitely let your dr know what you're feeling.

My mom had micro preemie babies, so I would ask her, but, she didn't even know she was pregnant when she had them. Lol.

I would definitely call your doctor. You're in my prayers mama.
Missing baby Elliott Thomas since March 10th. I love you forever and always. <3

I would call my doctor. I have no experience with this but given your history it could not hurt and hopefully it will ease your mind!

Have them check your progesterone level. Sometimes even if it is a bit low if you supplement you can avoid PTL. It is usually an IM injection twice a week.
Wishing you the best!
