So with how frustrated I have been with my OB's office all the time I met with a midwife practice today for a meet and great. It went GREAT! I loved the midwife, I didn't feel rushed whatsoever.. I was 5 mins late because I didn't know the area and they didn't care at all, and I was in the room with the midwife within literally 5 minutes.. and it was great. I got a packet of info, she explained how things will work, and answered all my questions. There's 6 midwives in the practice and it's in a whole different building than the OB practice. The OB practice is across the street right next to the hospital and I only have to see them if complications arise. They have a number I can call 24/7 if I have any questions/concerns and it's soo much more personal and better

So I made an appointment to tour the birthing center @ the hospital next wednesday and if I like it I'm switching after my next doc's appointment on the 2nd.

I'm so excited! I didn't expect to switch this late but I feel really good about it.
