I used to HATE tums... but had a couple a few days ago for heartburn and I just keep wanting to eat them.

WHY?! I have this bottle sitting next to the bed, and I keep thinking they look appetizing. Gahh I'm so weirdddd. I've never heard of craving Tums before!

Maybe it's the calcium? I also used to hate milk and since I've been pregnant I've drank more milk in the past 7 months than I have in years (I only had milk with cereal)

I'm sorta right there with you. I hated Tums before pregnancy, and now I love the smoothie ones. They taste like smarties to me. My OB said I can eat as many as I want because they are just extra calcium and that you can't really overdose on them. I try real hard to only take them when I need them, but I also find myself eating things I know will give me heartburn just so I don't feel bad taking them.

It's called Pica. You're probably lacking something in the tums.
