OMG. I'm just sitting there hanging out with DH and one of his friends when I start almost screaming in pain. My hip feels like it's being pulled out of it's socket and twisted. I get up to leave the room (so I don't scare his friend anymore than I already did, lol) and I can't stand up straight it just makes it worse. I can't lay down (which DH keeps insisting I try to do, poor man was at a loss) I can't sit all I can do is bend over and lean on this chair. It was the worst pain... So, there I am crying, and moaning, and trying to find a position that makes this pain a little more bearable. The whole thing felt like it lasted forever, but I'd say it was maybe 5/10 minutes. I ask him to go get my mom, so she comes in and immediately starts rubbing my back which seems to calm things down a little bit. It gets me to where I can actually breathe and form real sentences. She insists that she run me a hot bath to soothe my joints and muscles. Mom really knows best, because while there's still a little soreness I do feel a lot better. Idk what just happened? She said she thinks it's one of two things, either Avery finally turned around out of breech and it just happened faster than normal which put a big strain on my bones in there, or it's my hips spreading. You guys agree? Should I bring this up to the Dr. at my appt. next week?

I would definitely talk to your Dr about it. I have hip and pubic bone pain, but it's nothing compared to what you are talking about. Glad you are doing better. Keep a heating pad handy, on low setting...

I get this because I have acetabular fractures. My hip sockets were broken into pieces so I have screws and plates in there. Basically, I know how you feel and I'm sorry you have to go through that kind of pain. Nobody should have to experience that kind of pain. I don't know why it would happen in your case, but know you're not alone.

I've had hip pain this whole time, but I just don't know what was going on yesterday, it happened two more times last night. The pain goes from my back, down to the bottom of my thigh. I'm gonna see how today goes, if anything happens again then I'm going to call and ask a nurse about it.
