What has had to go out of your daily routine to accommodate baby's needs right now?

How do you get around it, eg if some of it is housework or chores you would ordinarily do?

My garden - I have been able to do some things when Richard is at home. Will be out there this weekend when Rich can watch Theo. Theo won't sit alone yet so I can't do anything with him here.

Ditto sleep. And my house is a disaster. When DH gets home each evening, I work in a load of laundry or dishes. I've made dinner two nights in a row. During the day, though, I don't do much but tend to this little guy and pump to build my stash. Such an exiting life.

I actually made dinner last night...but the dishes that didn't go in the dishwasher are still there....

The laundry from the weekend still hasn't made it upstairs either...

We'll figure it one day!

Showers... I'm just now learning to get lunch and dinner in. We're ok in the sleep department most nights. Cleaning gets done here and there, when/if I find time.

Cooking, cleaning, and showering. lol But now that mom has left I have to make it work. It took me over an hour just to get partially done with cooking the past two days. I figured out that I have to start dinner in drips and drabs during his nap times and picking up Kev. Like today I got home from picking up Kev, got E down for a nap and I cleaned and prepped the chicken. Now I just have to add the sauce and throw it in the over later. I'll also start the rice then. The cleaning will take a bit longer to work out, but I have the girls to help. I did manage to make the bed and sweep the floors. So I'm sure I'll figure it out.

❤ Big Thanks to Vicki, trishosaurus, & Shortcake for the great siggies of my kids! ❤

I can do everything as normal I just have to take time outs to feed Evan. Oh but I haven't been making diapers as much. I wear him a lot too. But he's a good sleeper.

everything i get to shower every few days, Alan i doing the cooking and dishes, neither of us have cleaned the chinchillas out since Noah arrived - we did manage to bath the dog yesterday first the first time in a month. The house disparately needs to be vacuumed

Sex. I swear children can read minds. It's uncanny. I'm never going to get laid again.
Gardening. I want it to snow because my yard makes me sad and I don't want to look at it anymore.
Eating without a child in my lap.
Sewing. I've been itching to get a set of curtains made and I want to make Farah's quilt and start another quilt that's going to be a christmas gift while I have lots of time left to make it.
I'm keeping up with housework, cooking and such most days, though sometimes they get done a bit later in the day than usual (like today which is day three of cluster feeding)
Oh and having my boobs covered for at least a portion of the day. I may as well not bother putting a shirt on.

Showering and laundry. I get most of my cleaning done, but it's usually at night. I get my sleep is good, meals are fine, but I used to shower in the morning and take a bath at night. Now I'm lucky I get a quick shower every other day!!

I am amazed at how well I am staying on top of the cleaning. I used to love to watch HGTV though, and i havent turned the tv on once in the past two weeks. I havent been able to sleep. Even when he's sleeping, I dont sleep.. So that's usually when I get all the cleaning done. I cat nap here and there, so hopefully it wont catch up with me.

Basically everything.

I am usually able to get some housework done in the mornings. . . I am still having a hard time cooking dinner because I am usually exhausted by then, or Adalyn has hit her witching hour, or just wants to nurse. . . Before my mom got here, I was just trying to keep up with the basics: Laundry [though I was barely surviving that] and dishes/keeping the kitchen clean. Now that my mom is here and has been helping a TON with cooking and cleaning - My house is nice and clean now and we're completely caught up on laundry - I am hoping I'll be able to keep up with it a bit better now.

Hmm nothing... Other than waking every few hrs, not much has changed. I jut put her in the sling while I'm doing housework or cooking, and I pop her in the swing or bed while I have a shower.

Today was the first day home alone with my two little men, I managed to do a load of laundry, tidy the house (sort of, I'd lost my camera, so cleaned up as I was trying to find it), and even picked up some dog bones from in town...! I was quite proud of myself!

Things that have gone out the window... sleep, cooking (am totally prepared for this though and have 35 frozen meals in the deep freeze), dishes, getting my toddler down to nap (he's sooo clingy to me at the moment)... and it took me til 10am to get both myself and my toddler out of our PJ's!
