Or any kind of party food... We're having a handful of friends over for the football game on Sunday afternoon. I need some food ideas. We usually do nachos and wings. I was thinking we'd do taco dip instead of nachos, and maybe pulled pork or something? Anyone have a good pulled pork recipe?

One of my favorite things is jalapeno poppers. They are super easy to make and are not spicy. You cut them in half lengthwise, take off the stem and remove all seeds. In a little bowl mix up brown sugar with cream cheese. Put the cream cheese filling in each of the pepper halves. Then wrap a half piece of bacon around each and secure with a toothpick. Bake in the oven until the cream cheese just barely begins to brown and bacon looks fully cooked. I'm thinking around 350 would work fine.

Like that recipe? I'm sorry, I'm getting as bad as my mom with lack of specifics!

I bake mine on an aluminum-foil lined cookie sheet on an oven-safe cooling rack so the bacon fat can drip down and have a place to go. The foil makes the clean up a snap.

We had people over this past weekend and had a crockpot of chili. I also made these:

Buffalo chicken garbage bread:
pizza dough can (like Pillsbury)
Chicken breast
franks hot sauce
cheddar cheese
ranch or blue cheese

Cut the chicken breast into small chunks and cook it in a frying pan. After it's totally cooked add hot sauce to cook, and fry it more, set aside to cool.

Roll out the pizza crust into a long rectangle, spread ranch (or blue cheese) and more hot sauce on the crust, top with how much cheese you like, add chicken breast chunks, roll up. Tuck ends under.

Bake according to dough directions until golden brown.
