For the past few weeks I've had like an ache in my shoulder area where the strap of my bra falls. Almost like a bra strap thats to tight and making your back itch or ache. I keep blowing it off but it is not going away. There's no mark to be seen. I've tried going bra-less thinking it's my nursing bras... But it doesn't seem to go away. I'm not sure if it could be the tanks either... I'm starting to question skin cancer. Maybe I'm going too far with that thought but I've heard it can itch. This doesn't really itch, but itching or rubbing the area makes it feel better. I feel so silly going to the DR because I don't even know how to explain the way it feels properly. UGH but it's starting to get really annoying

Doesn't there have to be a spot there for it to be skin cancer? I always thought there had to be a mark, maybe not?

Is it just an ache from the position you're using for breastfeeding? With LO getti bigger I find myself using different positions because of his size.

*Thank you kiliki for the siggy!*

Does it run in your family? Doesn't hurt to get it checked out if you've got a hunch, it's always good to listen to your gut . Hope it turns out to be nothing, good luck.

I agree with Jennifer. It must have something to do with positioning when you BF!

I'll bet it is to do with BF and positioning honey. It's more likely to be that than anything. Don't forget your bras might feel tighter when your breasts are full - I get that too.

However, do go and see your doc about it and don't feel silly - now that that thought is in your head it won't go away until someone can set your mind at rest about it.
