Here's my birth plan. I pretty much just copied the one I used last time. Can you think of anything else?

Angela & Ryan
Natural Childbirth Plan

Mother-to-be: Angela Husband: Ryan
Practitioner: Northland Women’s Health Dr. On Call

Please check with my husband, Ryan (the father) if I am not capable of answering any questions that may arise.

This birth plan is intended to express the preferences and desires we have for the birth of our baby. It is not intended to be a script. We fully realize that situations may arise such that our plan cannot be followed. However, we hope that barring any extenuating circumstances, you will be able to keep us informed and aware of our options. Thank you.

 Peace and quiet with music of our choice
 We would prefer not to have medical students or residents
 Please keep vaginal exams to a minimum
 I want to maintain mobility (walking, rocking, birthing ball, up to bathroom, etc...)
 I need to be allowed to eat and drink to comfort
 Intermittent monitoring. I do not want to be confined to my bed
 Visitors are welcome during labor. My 8 & 5 yr old daughters would like to visit
 Please do not offer pain medication. I will ask for them if I want them.

 I prefer to use natural methods to start labor (walking, nipple stimulation, etc.)
 Please do not break my water
 Please do not use pitocin

Pain Management:
 I prefer to use relaxation techniques (breathing, focusing, etc...)
 Water (shower or tub) I would like a room with a tub
 Heat or cold packs
 Massage
 Birthing ball

 I would like my choice of positions. I do not want to lie on my back
 I would like to use the squat bar
 I prefer no episiotomy, but please use compresses, massage & positioning
 I would like to record my birth

After Birth:
 If possible, delay cord clamp & cutting. I prefer for my husband to cut the cord.
 If possible, place baby immediately on my chest
 I would like to breastfeed as soon as possible after delivery.
 Please do not manually extract the placenta
 Do not separate the mother and baby unless medically necessary

Baby Care:
 Please delay all medications to baby for 1 hour after delivery. I would like this time for bonding.
 Please delay eye medication
 I would like immediate skin-to-skin contact with baby before baby is cleaned
 I prefer to breastfeed only, if possible

Unexpected Events:
 I would like my husband present for a cesarean birth, if necessary
 I do not want to be sedated
 Husband would like to hold baby as soon as possible after cesarean birth
 I would like to breastfeed as soon as possible after cesarean birth
 If baby is sick, parents want to participate in the care of baby as much as possible
 If baby is transported to another facility, the Father wants to go with baby and mother to be transported as soon as possible.
 If baby and mother are separated, I would like to express breast milk for feedings.
 If baby is stillborn, I would like 1 hour grieving time with baby and family.

Are you okay with cervadil or any other meds to ripen the cervix? That is the only thing I didn't see in the induction section.
