Hi ladies.. I don't post very often so I thought it was time to update Zach is 8 weeks old today! He was diagnosed at 5 weeks with reflux and has been on Zantac since and is doing much better!!! We are still nowhere near sleeping through the night.. I think the longest stretch of sleep has been about 4 hours.. I'm ebf and that's been going great until the last few days.. He's started making this smacking/clicking sound while he's nursing.. and he doesn't seem to be sucking as strong lately, I can just pull my nipple out of his mouth, as if there's no suction. Any idea why he's doing this?? It just started totally out of the blue and i'm at a loss.. Any advice would be great
Here's a few pics!

Madalyn clicks too ... LC consultant had me put pressure under her chin and it helped ... It was basically her tongue slipping on and off the nipple.

Jamison sometimes does this too. If I sit him up for a minute, wipe my nipple dry, and then let him relatch, it usually solves the problem. It gives him just enough time to realize, "Hey, wait a minute! I'm hungry!" Your little guy is ADORABLE!!
