Hoping someone here has had theirs removed and could answer my question for me....

I had mine out a week ago, and thought I'd be feeling fine by now. I was doing ok the last day or two, but today my belly button incision is hurting really bad, like back to the pain I had on day 1 or 2, bad enough to need another Percocet. My follow up appointment isn't until next Thursday, so I was wondering if this was normal to still have this much pain or if I should call the doctor?

I had my gallbladder removed several yrs ago and my incision hurt off and on for about 1.5-2 weeks. It will also hurt more with lifting things so be extra careful.

Also be watchful cause I still have days where things will make me sick, or spicy or greasy food can upset my stomach since the surgery.

GL I hope you feel better!

A BIG thank you to *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!

I had mine out almost 9 years ago so its been awhile. I bounced back from the procedure very fast. Was up and making dinner that night and did not need any pain meds after about 8 hours. I was told that over doing it could cause pain to last longer and that it was normal to have pain for up to 2 weeks after. So that was what I was expecting.
