Have you talked to the doc about possibly trying a different reflux medication? We ended up switching from Zantac to Omeprazole, and it has been much better for us.

The other thing you can check with your pediatrician is the dosage especially if it has been several weeks since it was prescribed. My son's pediatrician explained that since the Zantac (and all other meds) are based on weight, it will have to be adjusted as he gains more weight.

We have given gripe water while using Zantac, but never gas drops. I would check with her Ped about checking her dosage. It may need to be increased. Like Ki said, dosage is based on weight.

Victoria started on Zantac but had a reaction to it and broke out in a rash all over her body so they switched her to Omeprazole (Prilosec). So much better. Haven't had a bit of reflux since.
