On the pacifier thread, just yesterday, I said Elijah doesn't like his pacifiers and that he is a thumbsucker. He loves sucking his thumb, but he also started sucking on his lips... seriously. He'll suck on the bottom lip and then half of the top one. I tried it and hate how it felt and then it made my lip feel swollen, which is probably what it feels like for him. DH told me to give him a pacifier when I see him suck his lip, so I tried it and it worked! He happily sucked on his pacifier instead of his lip.

So now that I know he likes it, should I get larger ones? Elijah is wearing size 4 diapers and 12 month clothing. Do you think he needs a larger pacifier?

Elias was a big guy at this age and I just graduated the size of paci when the packages said to, so in our case we use Gerber NUKs, so at 6 months and 18 months we changed sizes.

We are using the same ones, so maybe it's fine. I guess I could always buy the bigger ones and if they seem to big, just save them a few months.
