Is your baby wearing the right age clothes, older or younger?

Is your baby wearing predominantly their traditional gender color (blue or pink) or a mixture?

Jacob is 9 months and is in 9 month clothing although he is just about too big for them. I need to get him some 12 month pants because the 9 months are just about too short.

he does mainly wear traditional gender colors. he mostly wears blues and greens.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

JR is in older clothing- 12 m or 18 m clothing depending on brand. He wears all kind of colors, the only one I avoid is yellow because he looks terrible in it!

Thanks to Claire1979 for the terrific siggy!

Kira is in mostly older clothes (about 12 months, depending on brand).

She wears a mixture of colors. She has some pink/girly stuff (very few dresses though) and most strangers think she's a boy. It doesn't bother us though; all babies kinda look like boys because of their short hair.

We usually keep her in PJs when we travel on airplanes because it's easier. For one flight, her PJs were bright pink and I thought, "well, at least people will know she's a girl now!"...but the man next to us STILL called her a "he"! We found out later on the flight that he was color blind.

Rylynn can still wear a lot of her 9 month stuff, but I've started putting her in some of the 12 month outfits and they seem to look better on her. Not so tight. She will be 9 months on Feb 11, so I guess she's pretty much on track. So far, she hit 3 months and shortly after wore 3-6 month, right at 6 months she was wearing 6-9.

We have a mixture of colors/styles, but they are all clearly girl clothes. I think anyway. I've never seen a boy wear a shirt with a sparkly butterfly on it, even if it is blue!

Sofia is 8 months old and wears 12 month clothing. It fits her perfectly right now. Pretty much all of her clothes are girly. She has a lot of pinks and purple and lots of dresses. After having a boy first, I was all about the girly stuff this time around.

*Thank you AlexKatieAidenMommy for my awesome siggie*

She is pretty much right on track as far as general size. She still fits 9 month. She wears a lot of different colors. she does have a ton of pink though. We have almost all hand me downs and most of them are pink lol. but I think she looks beautiful in blue with her blue eyes.

I recently talked to a woman who works in a children clothing boutique. The sizes work like this....

0-3 months= 3 months
3-6 months= 6 months
6-9 months= 9 months
9-12months = 12 months
12-18months =18 months
18-24 months = 24months

So if your kiddos is 9 months, then the "correct" size is 12 months.

I was always confused by that!

Luke is wearing size 12 months, and wears lots of boyish colors. Greens, reds, blues, etc. We steer clear of white!

Thanks Kiliki for the siggie!
