Has your baby said his/her first word yet? What was it?

Jacob said ma ma a few weeks ago and said it 3 times then he hasn't said it since. Now he is just babbling away with a bunch of nonsense. I try to get him to say ma ma again and he just babbles. I guess he will start saying it again when he's ready. Now I'm wondering if I just heard what I wanted to hear and he wasn't really saying ma ma..lol.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

Kira says mama and dada but not to either of us specifically yet. For a while she only said dada (she called me dada too) but she's starting to intersperse mama in there, too, so I'm hopeful that she's close to using them as names and not just syllables.

Hadley says Dada to DH. She calls Grady "deedee" or now "adee" and she says "kitty cat". She has said Mama ONE TIME and i think it was a fluke. She's my little talker.

She repeats "hi" if you say it to her and "bye bye" too. Grady was my silent child!!

Cole says mama, dada and baba (bottle) for sure. I am thinking he says Chase too. It sounds like "ayke" but says it a lot when either I say "chase" or he's looking at Chase so maybe... Chase is hard to say. Chase called himself "cheese" for the longest time lol.

Thanks so much *Kiliki* for my awesome summer siggie!
