Okay... What sippy cups are you all using? McKinley is very stubborn when it comes to these things ha. I've tried tommy tippy hard spout she hated it. I just got the tommy tippy soft spout and she's ok with it but she isn't grasping the concept very much. She just bits it in hopes she gets something.

I'm using the nuk ones I believe. Ethan will take anything as long as it has liquid in it. . .and if I'm holding it lol. There is one that I have that has handles on it, and the top can switch between a bottle nipple to a sippy cup. Maybe try somthing like that to transition her? Once she gets used to that bottle, she may not mind when you switch the top.

I use any cup and if it has a stopper, I get it out. I don't mind a little water mess as it helps with learning.

We have used the cheapie take and toss ones, it is what we had a lot of for DD1, she didn't seem to mind, but we haven't really used it much. With DD1, we just switched at a year when we switched her to milk...she never had milk in a bottle and was totally fine with it. Hoping for the same with Ms. Addy!

Raini has several differnt types, purposely ofcourse to see which she'd like. We have the 2 of the reg walmart brand soft top which she likes, the $ store hard top with two handles which she loves, the hard plastic with no handles from WIC which she is okay with... Right now she prefers the handles with a hard top but will take the soft tops handleless. However she wont drink formula from them. She'll take water or juice but currently formula is a no go. The Easter Bunny is bringing her a hello kitty soft top transition cup. I didnt worry about transitioning my boys til they were a year old but they took to the sippie early on and were totally off the bottle by their first birthday, Raini I think has other plans, which is okay, but it wont keep me from trying.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my gorgeous siggie!
