We have started planning Jacob's first birthday party. We have decided to do it at our house on April 20. His birthday is April 25 but his cousin's birthday is April 26 and they are having her birthday on April 27 which is when I wanted to have Jacob's party but didn't want to have them on the same day.

This is one of the presents that we bought him

It's a Little Tikes Pirate Ship that he can plan with but it also lets him sit on it and ride it around.

We have decided to do a train theme and here is a picture of the cake that DH is going to try to make. He has made all of Jackson's cake's so he is also planning making Jacob's cake. He always does a really good job. Hopefully it will look like this.

here is a link to the plates and party stuff that I think I'm going to order
We ordered from them last year and were pleased. I also got personalized invitations for Jackson's party last year and it was so nice not having to write them all out so I think I will order those for Jacob's party also.

so what do you guys think? Has anybody else started planning or have you decided on what presents your getting your babies? What are you doing?

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

That cake is so cute! Your hubby must be really talented. Can't wait to see photos!

We decided to have Kira's birthday party at MyGym. Some friends recommended it and, since we're members already, we get a discount. They take care of all the decorations etc. For invitations, I'll just do Evite.

I haven't started thinking about presents yet...we get her a lot of stuff as it is. I want to do a keepsake/sentimental present but haven't decided what.

DH amazes me with his cake making ability but he's an engineer so he's really neat and precise. I will usually bake the cake and he does all the decoration. This is the most difficult cake that he has attempted so far.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy
