So since we are sharing owies...
This morning we were running late for our interview for our apartment and Tuckr had a blowout and had poop from his knees to his ears!
I had to wash him up so i just filled up the bathroom sink.
well i was rushing and turned off the cold water first, he screamed bloody murder and i pulled him out immediatly but i felt so bad! he was just a little red, and tender for a few minutes. he didnt blister or anything but oh goodness did i feel bad!!!!

and the worst part was that i made us even more late because i refused to put him in his seat crying, i had to comfort him and make him feel better first.

but there ya go.
you looked away for a second and they took a dive, i actually turned the cold water off and BURNED him :'( ugh i feel like such crap. i even called Taylr from work and asked how he was doing and he said he is totally fine and im over reacting because hes not even remotly pink anymore. but i still feel horrible...

There was a lady in my city whose son pulled a coffee maker full of boiling water on top of himself! He is okay but has to have some treatments. Sink water I don't think can be made to a level where it actually burns. Still makes us feel bad when we hurt our littles. Tuck doesn't even remember it anymore since he is such a tough guy im sure
Thank you Bokkechick for my siggy!

Agree, sink water can't cause the boiling water type burns - partly because of situations like this! From a code perspective for plumbing there is a safety thing put it (oh yeah, I'm so technical!). But still scary for sure! I'm glad to hear he has no lasting effects.

It got so much worse! I scraped his leg when I pulled him out I guess and he had something happen to his ankles. Idk if he's allergic to his socks or what but he has perfect rings around his little legs that almost look like zipper marks. Idk if it was from his socks or boots :/

I feel so guilty I just keep breaking down and crying in his little lap! He's asleep I'm my arms and I'm not moving. I feel so so horrible!!! :,( oh god here I go again!

Poor little guy. Last week Theo put his hand into my bowl of spaghetti and it hurt him a lot. We thought he might get a burn but it was just red for a while.

Aww. I can only imagine how bad you feel. I don't have anything else to add other than what the other ladies said. I'm sure he's perfectly fine.

As far as the socks thing... It could just be that they're tight. Xavier ALWAYS has rings on his ankles from his socks and his baby legs. He's just so chubby! They don't bother him though it doesn't seem.

Thank you Vicki... for my awesome siggy!
