For those feeding bottles (part time or full) how many ounces are you typically feeding? Breast milk or Formula?

Cam takes between 6 1/2 - 7 oz. now of breast milk. She always wants more for that first bottle, so that's usually the 7 ounce one. I can't believe she's taking that much already. She's not spitting up or having tummy trouble though and God forbid you give her any less! She'll let you hear about it!

When he gets a bottle without BFing first, he takes 3.5-4oz. Usually 3.5 and then he pushes the bottle out of his mouth.

Juliet is doing 6 oz of water mixed with formula (I always forget to see how much it makes once I shake it up) but I am guessing that is about 7 oz. Last week we began introducing oatmeal cereal once a day as well- so that bottle some is used to make the cereal and then she drinks the rest. She eats about every 4-5 hours during the day, and then doesn't eat from 9pm-5am over night, so she gets about 5 bottles a day.

Now we absolutely have days where she decides she is a little piggy and eats more often(growth spurts?).

A BIG thank you to Jaidynsmum for my awesome siggy!

I should have asked this too, but how many bottles do they take a day? Cam seems to take more in ounces at a time, but she only takes between 4-5 bottles a day.

Annalise usually takes anywhere from 5-6oz every 3-4hrs. Sometimes she'll go longer stretches, just depends.

Tori eats 6 oz bottles every 4 hours of formula. No food yet. Have not started on solids. She will have a total of 5 bottles (typically) right now she is going through her 4th mental leap (wonder week 19) and has been waking up and extra time at night for an additional bottle. So some days its been 6 bottles. I can usually tell before hand if she will get up an extra time. It all depends on how much of her bottles she finishes over the course of the day. If she gets interrupted while eating by the other kids then she will quit eating so she can play with them and there is no way to get her back to eating. When this happens with several bottles during the day then its usually a given that she will wake for an additional bottle at night.

She has 4-5 oz when I'm at work. She drinks 2- 3 while I'm gone usually. I feed her and pump on one side right before I leave. And she is ready to eat again when I get home. I work 3 days a week. When I'm off, I just breastfeed on demand. She usually eats every 3-4 hours.

Wow I wish Calla was eating as much as your babies! She'll take a 4oz bottle when it's offered to her, otherwise she's just breastfed every 2-3 hours. I would prefer she went a little longer between feedings. I'm having trouble keeping my milk supply up, though
