What words is baby saying these days? What was baby's first word? when did say his/her first word?

Jacob's first word was ma ma. I'm not sure if he really understood it when he first said it though. But the past week or so he will hold his arms up for me to pick him up and say ma ma. I love it. He is also saying da da and I know he know that is DH. He will also say bye bye but I'm not convinced that he really know what that means or if he is just repeating what we have said. he said ma ma about 4 weeks ago but has just recently begun saying it consistently that I know he know what he is saying.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

She said mama and dada a couple months ago, but now she knows what they mean. All I hear all day long though, is "uhhh OH!" She will drop somthing, or bang her head, or make a cat run from her and it's uhhh OH! It's so cute!

Kira says mama and dada....usually to the right person but not always. That's about it; otherwise her talk is just "dodle dodle abba odoyo" all day long.

JR says mama, dada, bye-bye, Bu (his sister), and lots of baby babble. He isn't a big talker, he thinks his sister does enough for the both of them!

Thanks to Claire1979 for the terrific siggy!
