Has anyone switched to a blanket from the sleep sack yet? My LO hates the sleep sack since she can't stand up in it but I worry about using a blanket. I've tried footed PJ's but she never seems warm enough without the extra layer.

I have never used a sleep sack with any of my kids. All my kids have slept with blankets from day 1.

Arianna has had a blanket since 3 or 4 months. She likes having something soft to rub on her face.

Cameron has a blanket now. He has a homemade crocheted blanket that is really soft and breathable. I feel comfortable with him using a blanket because he sits and stands and can pull if off of him if he needed to.
Thank you Vicki... for my siggy!!

we switched from swaddlers to a blankey around 3 months we switched to cosleeping and i wasnt comfortable with him being swaddled in bed becuse he whouldnt be able to right himself if he were to roll over when one of us shifted. he normally ends up throwing it off him after an hr or so anyway though becuse hes hot natured like his father.
