Will you still get your hair done or wait until after pregnancy? I usually try to wait until i'm in my 2nd trimester before getting highlights. Curious about others thoughts/opinions.

I asked my midwife about this and she said most well known brands are very safe. The only thing is that your hair may react differently with the hormones making your hair soak up the dye more or less or it may go a slightly different colour.
Thank you cavewoman for my beautiful siggy!!!

I haven't dyed my hair in years but when I got pregnant with my first, I was dying my hair. I stopped and never dyed it during pregnancy. I'd rather stay away from chemicals.

My Dr. said highlights are fine. Just be careful of dye/bleach that absorbs into the scalp.

Well... I'm greyish at 32. So I'd really like to sometime soon. I'm trying very hard to wait until the second tri. But it will not look good lol

Crazy enough to try all over again for a second together baby! Hoping for a much less wild ride this time!

I doubt I'll be dying my hair. I'm in a natural phase at the moment. But if I decided I wanted to, I would.
