What works? It's gone from only at night to all day now. Last time I was pregnant everything I looked at said either not to take while pregnant or breastfeeding or only on advice of dr. Tums and Rolaids dont do jack. Maalox night time was what was recommended last time by a pharmacist and only numbed it. Gotta go out later and try to find something to take this is killing me >< This is putting me in a bad mood :/ *sigh*

Doc gave me an rx for 300 mg Zantac. Prescriptions of this are less than buying it OTC. Works very well!

I use papaya enzyme tablets for mild heart burn and apple cider vingar for severe. The ACV tastes nasty but works great.

You can ask a pharmacist if you aren't sure, but I used this stuff called tagamet last pregnancy, it worked wonders. It's a once a day lasts all day/night type, it's pretty cheap too.
Some people use baking soda in water, I've never tried it, sounds gross lol you might try crackers to absorb the extra acid, white rice will do the same but takes longer.
There's a huge home remedies website that other people from all over the world post remedies on, google international home remedies project and it should be on the top, I can't remember if it's a .com, .org, or.web or I'd put the link up, but they have stuff on there for just about everything under the sun and most of it works

I understand I am the same way. I had some crackers yesterday for breakfast and holy cow the worst heartburn ever. Home remedies don't work for me I've tried everything as I hate taking medicine but I am gonna have to break down soon and get some. Sorry you are having heartburn problems too.

Thank you so much AlexAiden Mommy for my beautiful siggy!

THis is hard, I never get heartburn cause I take probitotics, but this from uterus pushing everything up I guess. SO got me Tums Smoothies and they worked a bit better but not good enough. Am going to the healthfood store shortly anyways will see what they have there.
