I am not looking forward to the trip, looking forward to the visit with my family but not the actual trip there and back We are driving to TX from IL, leaving about 3 a.m. and we won't get there until probably after 5 p.m.!! 1. I am riding in the backseat with my 2 year old daughter, this is going to make things hard for me anyways because she's not the most pleasant road tripper at her age lol. 2. I am 6 weeks prego tomorrow and I am starting to feel a little motion sickness. The problem with this is that my parents (who we are going with) don't know I'm pregnant (we are keeping it a secret until Christmas!)! Hopefully I don't throw up!

Driving is the hardest part! I feel your agony on driving long distance with a 2yr old! My 2yr old still cries in her carseat when she is tired of riding in it. Oh yea that makes for a really fun ride.

We went to Branson this past Sept, my daughter whined and cried the whole way home because the wind was blowing her hair and the sun was in her eyes and it was only 4 hours. OMG Hopefully Mickey Mouse Clubhouse will help me out lol

I hope the trip goes very smoothly and you have a great time on the trip. Portable DVD players are a great thing if you don't have them installed in the car for long trips and keeping little ones entertained, as are lots of snacks, and a couple (or a few) bathroom stops at a McDs or BK where there's a playground. We tell ours they've got 10 min to run around like crazy before we get back in the car. That's helps, too.

I hope you don't get the m/s related motion sickness. I'm getting it something awful right now and it doesn't matter if I'm driving or in the passenger's seat!
