I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. Had been feeling pretty crappy last week to the point where I didn't want to get out of bed, just laid around and wanted to cry I felt so bad. All of the sudden, yesterday afternoon I started feeling better, wake up today and no sick feeling whatsoever.

Can disappearing sickness be a sign of miscarriage? I mean I know it gets better at some point but with my daughter I was feeling SICK SICK pretty much the whole 1st trimester.

I just called the Dr. because I am so freaked out. The nurse said "Well...it isn't abnormal and normally with a miscarriage there will be spotting or cramping. IF it is a miscarriage just know that there is nothing you could have done to prevent it" Didn't reassure me AT ALL! She offered to get me into the Dr. earlier than my next appt 11/21 but the only appt they have open is tomorrow at 2 and I can't make it. So looks like I'll have to wait until Thursday to find out if my little one is OK.

If I were almost to my 2nd trimester I would be a lot less freaked out but I was only sick for a week and i'm only 8 weeks! I'm just really nervous because I just had a miscarrigae last year at this time.

That's when mine disappeared. Mine seriously lasted 2 weeks, weeks 6-8. And we saw a heartbeat after it ended. Don't compare your pregnancies, though, because they're ALL different. Hopefully all is OK in there and you just had short lived m/s!!

I had the same thing the other day. However, the MS returned in rear form. I guess it's normal for symptoms to disappear and reappear during the first trimester. And, some people get lucky and MS doesn't last long at all.

If there is no cramping or bleeding, don't worry. I'm sure everything is fine.

No need to panic. Just yesterday my Dr told me the placenta takes over between 7 and 9 weeks so if you have been feeling crappy and suddenly feel better it is probably just fine. With my miscarriage, the symptoms were gone and yes there was bleeding and cramping. But like you, I have no real symptoms right now and I'm almost 8 weeks. She told me to count my lucky stars, so I suggest you breathe deep and thing of a strong healthy placenta taking over.

It seems that several of us are noticing the easing up of the morning sickness, me included. Let's count our blessings! From what I've read, morning sickness has a "peak" in which it seems to be at its most dreadful. Before and after that, it is still around, but less intense and maybe more off and on from day to day.
