Anyone else try this? I'm so desperate at this point and my OB's website has this listed as a "safe" medication for nausea. They say it can be cut in half and taken 3 times a day…..just wondering if anyone has any luck with this. #barf

Yes it works. Makes some people sleepy so watch for that side effect. Vitamin B6 helps out a good deal too. So does sucking on something sour!

Maybe I will have to try this out too when the nausea hits. It really sucks, doesn't it?!
Laying on my tummy helps a bit for some reason. It's something that always has helped me when I feel nauseous. But I won't be able to do that forever, obviously..not even for much longer probably. I usually try laying a cold wet rag on my forehead and the back of my neck, too. That helps a bit as well.
I did have DH buy some jolly ranchers and gatorade today so I am hoping they help. I should've gotten something sour.
I think making sure you snack on something once every hour helps too.

I bought some unisom and b6 to try this time around, but I had no idea how to take it. When I asked about it, a friend of mine gave me this link: My Recommendations for Eliminating Nausea and Vomiting (Morning Sickness) in Pregnancy | Dr. Walt's Health Blog

Personally I like Zofran but I guess if you are asleep your won't be throwing up.

I think I would be too tired to function if I took unisom! I hope it works for you though.

I have heard of it and also benadryl. I have taken the childrens benadryl and it seems to help a little. The B6 doesn't help me and I have been pretty sick but I am trying not to ask for the zofran because while it works wonders on nausea it really messes up your digestive system (like horribly) and I already have IBS. I am trying as hard as I can to wait it out. Good luck ladies in whatever you decide to help you make it through these early months (they can be quite miserable)
