I have never had a single case of heartburn or indigestion...so the first time I tried explaining to my husband what was going, burping up food that I ate like 3-4 hours ago and a weird bloating feeling he told me it was indigestion, well who knew?! lol

So my question is, in the past few weeks I also will randomly get these burning sensations in my throat/esophagus... it's not usually accompanied with any other symptom and it's not painful at all.. just uncomfortable.

So is this heartburn? I tried looking up heartburn symptoms and it sounded more like it should be a burning sensation in the chest and a sour taste in your mouth and I don't feel that way..it's more in my throat. Anyone else have this?? I'm 10 weeks

Yes, that is heartburn. That is what it is like when I have it. I normally get it if I eat any fried food so I try to avoid anything fried. I was getting it a lot between week 4 and 6 but I haven't had it for a while. Tums are your friend!

it's acid reflux. Try to eat smaller portions throughout the day sorry to say it will get much worse in the third trimester that is when i usually take zantac.

I haven't been able to pin point it to any one food. I get it almost everyday. I'm just grateful it's not over bearing or painful..

I was getting it the first few weeks after I got my BFP - for me it happened whenever I was hungry, or ate too much. Drink a glass of milk if you don't have any tums in the house (or, if you're like me, get nauseous if I try to chew one because the smell makes me gag). Good luck!
