Hey everyone, I am very new to this, (being on a social support group).
so please bear with me

I am 6 weeks pregnant (due date is 05-12-2014, but the Dr will need to do a c/s so I have opted to join the Nov dd group if that is ok ?) I am 6 weeks preggies today.

I originally had a HCG level of 69 - which doubled to 170 2 days later on Progesterone treatment - my Progesterone was very low 21.6, my levels have done the following since

26-3 69.8
28-3 170
07-04 3106
09-04 4322
11-04 6591

I have upped my Utrogestan to 600mg a day now.
but I have on 2 occasion experienced a light browny discharge, nothing on my underwear just when I wipe or "check to see how bad it is-using toilet paper up my canal" (sooo graphic sorry)

it is usually only with 1 wipe and then it goes away.

My Dr has said she is concerned that my HCG is NOT doubling, yet she is happy it is going up. she is ALSO not happy with the browny discharge, and is expecting me to miscarry.

we are doing a sonar again on Wednesday - 4 days time - hoping to see a heartbeat,

her concern is that I have a blightend ovum.

can someone shed some light on this for me.

I am very worried, and very anxious,
and a friend refered me to this site and told me how awesome everyone is on here.

First off, let me say the european style of dates was throwing me off!

Second, your HCGs don't double every 48 hours after they get to a certain point (in fact, after 1200 it should take 72-96 hours). Although your April 7 to April 9 was a little slow, your April 9 to April 11 was 78.8 hours - right on track.

Beta hCG Doubling Calculator | Countdown to Pregnancy Hope this helps!

Spotting can also be normal in early pregnancy. Good luck!!!!!!! FXed for a good scan!

From 5w5d to 6w1d my number didn't double every 48 hours. They were doubling every 5 days or something like that. So they slowed WAY down. We were surprised to see a HB at 6w1d.

I know it's hard not to worry but I look forward to hearing your ultrasound results. I have had numbers not double before and have the 6 year old to prove that everything was okay!Sometimes we know too much you know?

I agree with the others. I know it's so hard not to worry, but everything could still be fine in there! Please let us know how the scan goes.
