Well I had to go to a surgeon today. My old friends "the roids" came back for a visit.I have two hemeroids that are so bad with huge blood clots. Some of the worst pain I have been in. So I am trying procto foam and all the warm baths and witch hazel tucks pads, but it looks like they are going to have to be cut open under a local and drained. The stitches hurt so bad last time. I just can't believe this is my fourth time doing this. I wanna cry!!
Have any of you ladies ever had them this bad? One is the size of a golf ball. I can't even sit. Please tell me if anyone knows of any tricks to get rid of these painful things.
Sorry ladies for tmi. My doctor sees pregnant women everyday for this problem. He is a plastic surgeon and oh how I was watching other patients waiting for other procedures thinking if these people only knew what he was gonna do to me...lol. gross!

My sister just had that done not too long ago - and hers were scraped off with no stitches. Her issue was pushing and not enough fiber. No first hand experience other than a wet towel when you wipe!! Sorry you are suffering

I had one a little bigger then a pee on the outside. It actually went away, I think because I switched to wipes to wipe with, toilet paper irritates them. But once ii was all gone I immediately went back to tp, I hated the wet wipes. But never had them as big as yours! I really hope you start feeling relief soon. And if you have to get it cut out then I hope you recover speedy fast and the stitches aren't too painful

I almost always get them towards the end of pregnancy and again right after delivery though definitely not as bad as yours, that sounds awful I hope you feel better quickly!

At this point I don'thave any experience with them but hope you feel better soon and this time the stitches won't be so awful.

I had my first one when I was barely pregnant (right at the start), and it was just awful. I think it was mostly internal but it sure did hurt anyway! I swabbed it with witch hazel a few times a day. It burned like heck but it did eventually do the trick - it was terrible experience though! I hope you have a speedy recovery, I'm sure that's a miserable place to be.

My midwife said to cut open a potato and put it against them. Supposed to be the best thing to help. I just use pure witch hazel on a cotton ball if they get bad.
