We lost D when Mattea was about 18 months. She knew in her own way that I was pregnant, she would always come up and hug my tummy and say "hi baby" and give it kisses. She knew there was a baby in there. The day before we lost D, Mattea came up to me, hugged my belly and then waved at it and said "bye-bye baby". I of course then started bawling. I still get teary-eyed thinking about it. She knew. She really did. I think young ones are more aware than we give them credit for, I bet she does understand, in her own way

Reagan distinguishes between Marshall and Jonah. She's 3 now, so 2 when we lost Marshall. She knows the differences between their pictures and their urns, not that we've had to teach her.

She even talks about her Grammy the angel, and Mom died three months before she was born.

I totally believe it!!!!!!
my thanks to Claire1979 for the awesome siggy!!
