I was just wondering, after everything happened did you have alot of support or did people tend to keep thier distance?
When Joshua was born...nobody thought I needed to talk about it and it was better left alone...even my mom told me that it was just something that happens and I shouldnt dwell on it...like hello?? he's my son, I carried him for so long and you dont want me to think about him?
In my time of need i felt everyone would rather not talk to me and I felt very alone. I am so glad we have this board now

I am so glad we have this board as well - it is very much needed!

I didn't have the support afterwards - I did right away but as the months and weeks went on I needed more support and people backed away and were even scared to tell me when they got pregnant

I didn't get near the support I needed. My parents lived over 10,000 miles away and there was only so much they could do from that distance. My ex went on about his life like nothing happened and I didn't really have many friends over here at the time. It was a really tough time for me. I tried counselling but I really hated the counsellor so only went to two sessions and gave it up. She had no idea what I was going through and was telling me to put it out of my mind. Obviously she had never been pregnant!
