I went and picked up Ella's ashes this morning....They also gave me a velvet bag with her hospital bracelet....I wish I Had asked for the little clip on her cord too ...I'm sure they don't have it anymore...I haven't cried yet because I had my mom with me, but i'm sure it's going to hit me sometime today....Her bacelet said our last name, girl and then my name, and it was very discolored, i'm sure from it being on her body for so long...She was so tiny that they had to wrap it around her waist...I'm glad that I have her now, wish it wasn't in this way, but I can rest a little better knowing that this part is over...I also don't think we are going to have a service...I might do something with our kids and my husband privately....When I got home there was a package on my door step, it was a bracelet and a couple of cards from my DDC...I thought that was so nice of them, and perfect timing too.

I'm so glad that this part is over. It's so physically exhausting to be under that much emotional stress. I know it was easier for me once the cremation was complete for Cora.

That was so sweet of your DDC!
Thanks to babydoll213 for the siggy! My kids' blog Cora's blog

That was so nice of your DDC. I'm glad she is where you want her to be now.
