I went to get a tag from the angel tree at school and there it was…. A request for presents for a newborn boy. I cried. God is giving me the chance to buy a Christmas gift for Eli.

All my love"

I'm so grateful that my parents haven't forgotten Eli (they have done several things for him lately and have been really conscious of how I am doing) but at the same time this just broke my heart.

((Hugs)) aww that is sweet, but I understand how you feel I'm glad that they are remembering your sweet baby boy.

Yeah, my mom did the same thing for Cora for her first Christmas. It was so hard for that to be the way for them to do something for her, to not have her here.

I'm glad that she's remembering Eli somehow.

Thanks to babydoll213 for the siggy! My kids' blog Cora's blog

Your mom sound slike a great person.

When they persisted in questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let the person among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7

We are doing the same thing...each year we are going to donate a gift for a boy that would be the same age as Joey. We would love to be buying things for him, but for us, I don't go to the cemetary a lot so it is pointless to me to put a whole bunch of stuff there, I'd rather give the things to someone who needs them in his memory.
