I know some of you got pregnant fairly quickly after your loss...I was just curious to know how many cycles it took?

We took 3 cycles off (on BC) and then it took 4 more cycles. We used fertility treatments but we had needed those to get pregnant with Ethan.

Thank you Vicki for my awesome siggy!!

It took us 2. We lost Robert in Dec. I had my first PP AF in the middle of Feb., had another in March, and we found out we were expecting in April. I won't lie though, I was a temp charting psycho! I did everything I had done when we got pregnant with Robert (which was a surprise). I was running on the treadmill everyday, taking vitamins religiously, and eating super well. I was obsessed! It worked though, so I can't complain.
*A HUGE thank you to Maitri for my beautiful siggy!

That's what i'm hoping...I had Ella in October, first PP AF was in mid Nov, it was a long cycle...Then another the end of December, and i'm hoping that this one will do it...I'm also temping, not doing a good job at it, and using OPK's, taking extra folic acid along with my prenatal vits, and I also got some vit b complex, but I haven't taken it yet...I'm trying to drink extra water etc....I also got my husband some vits, but he hasn't taken them yet (He told me he would)...I hope this is the cycle.

Joey was born in April. I got first ppaf in the beginning of July. We weren't really trying that cycle though, Wanted to, but knew we should wait a bit (my doc said wait a year...HA yeah right). 2nd ppaf was Aug. 31 and thats the cycle we got pregnant on...although I didn't ovulate until the end of September. After Jamie (ds1) it took a long time for my cycles to regulate as well. I, too, was a charting maniac to get pregnant with Joey and with this baby!

We lost Katrina in August 2008 and were told to wait 3 cycles. We actively started ttc in November 2008 and then for many months after that....

We didn't get pregnant with Sweet Pea here until June 2009. At the time we were trying, I was getting more and more depressed with the combination of missing Katrina and worrying that we would never get pregnant again. We went to see a fertility specialist because my body started doing crazy things. I've always had slightly longer cycles (other than when I was on bc) at about 36 days, but for a couple cycles, they lasted 56 days! I was a miserable wreck and finally had to be put on anti-depressants for my depression. Our fertility specialist wanted us to start clomid in July 2009, which I was so convinced we would have to go that route....but baby Sweet Pea here had other ideas and we got pregnant on our own the month before having to start the clomid.

So after our loss, it did take us a good 10 months - but I am SO incredibly thankful and grateful to be pregnant with this beautiful baby girl

I got my first post partum period after Cora 27 days after delivery, and every 27 days after that. We prevented for 4 cycles for a combination of reasons, and then our first cycle ttc was unsuccessful. Delivered Cora May 2 and conceived Erin Sept 30th/Oct 1 (by my u/s dates, I thought it was a few days before that)
Thanks to babydoll213 for the siggy! My kids' blog Cora's blog

I waited 4 months to NPNT, a week after I took out my Nuvaring, I was preggo. I figured it would take me about 8 months to TTC, so I was shocked I got preggo right away.

It took us 2 cycles of trying. We got pregnant almost exactly 3 months after losing Eli. We started trying as soon as we knew it was safe (that the CMV wasn't going to be a problem again).
