...whenever I hear a song that reminds me of Cora and makes me cry, I have to listen to it over and over?

"There You'll Be" (Faith Hill from Pearl Harbor soundtrack)

When I think back
On these times
And the dreams
We left behind
I'll be glad 'cause
I was blessed to get
To have you in my life
When I look back
On these days
I'll look and see your face
You were right there for me

[Chorus:]
In my dreams
I'll always see you soar
Above the sky
In my heart
There will always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be
And everywhere I am
There you'll be

Well you showed me
How it feels
To feel the sky
Within my reach
And I always
Will remember all
The strength you
Gave to me
Your love made me
Make it through
Oh, I owe so much to you
You were right there for me

[Repeat chorus]

'Cause I always saw in you
My light, my strength
And I want to thank you
Now for all the ways
You were right there for me
You were right there for me
For always

[Chorus:]
In my dreams
I'll always see you soar
Above the sky
In my heart
There will always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be
And everywhere I am
There you'll be
There you'll be

I am bad for this. I did it when I was pregnant with Vera for like 2 weeks straight and for a month or two straight after we lost Roald.

For some odd reason the song that most reminds me of Roald and his birth/death is Bruce Hornsby "Valley Road". It's actually a song about abortion but for some reason the tempo and the taboo baby-related matierial must be what was so appealing to me in my time of grief???? If you hear it, maybe you'd understand.

Also Simon & Garfunkel "Leaves That Are Green" is a big one that reminds me of him. There are a couple others too...but those two are the ones I've listened to repeatedly the most.

There's a song I've only seen on youtube called "I would die for that"...its about a lady who wants a baby and can't. They have people posing throughout the video with signs with facts about loss, infertility etc then some happy signs from people like "Just found out we're expecting" or "its twins!" or something like that. Its a really touching song.

I also heard a song recently called "Joey". Its about a boyfriend/breakup...but there is 1 verse that fits and i just started bawling at the sound of his name.

I've been crying a lot lately

Oh I love that song Kathryn. It's by Kelly Coffey. And my favorite favorite part of the video is her holding her son at the end.

I've been crying a lot lately too.
