Last Thanksgiving was the first after we lost Hope and I remember feeling so down and wondering what there could be to feel thankful for when my poor girl wasn't with us. This year is better for me, but my thoughts are with all of you for whom the pain is still so raw. {{{hugs}}} for all you wonderful ladies. This board has been so helpful to me, and for you I am thankful!

The holidays is my favorite time of year. I was so excited about having Dominic for the holidays. Now it just breaks my heart everytime I think about him not being here. I miss him so much and it feels like I am betraying him by celebrating...... Every year for the rest of my life I get to kick off the holidays with my son's angelversary on October 19. I guess it being my first year and it just happening last month, it is really raw and I am just so sad....

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you! I'm having everyone at my house this year. It just has hit me that Bryan Luke should be here and isn't. I don't know why... maybe I've just been so busy I haven't let myself think about it.

What do you all do to remember your angels on days like this?

We plan to light a candle that will burn all day to remember him.

Thank you to AlexAiden Mommy for my beautiful siggie!
