I lost Grace on Monday at 20 weeks. I will post more about that when I can, its too raw right now. I do however have a question.
I am trying really hard to figure out a way to keep my milk from either coming in or to try and keep it at a min. Can any one give me any suggestions?
Thank you!

I used sage oil or salvia oil from the health food store to dry me up. It worked within a day or so.
I'm so sorry for your loss.

You can also try taking a decongestant. They're supposed to dry up your milk ducts like they do your sinuses. I took Tylenol cold & sinus when I stopped nursing Erin and it cut down my supply pretty quick. I can *still* get a little if I try, but not enough to bother me.

I wish I had known that when I lost Cora.
Thanks to babydoll213 for the siggy! My kids' blog Cora's blog

I am SO sorry!

This is going to sound really weird, but my mother who was a lactation consultant when she worked as a RN in L&D recommended it.

Put cold cabbage leaves on your breasts. Then wear a tight bra or wrap your breasts with an ace bandage. It worked for me. My milk did come in, but it only lasted about 2 days. That was so emotionally painful to know that milk was there for my son and he couldn't use it.

Again, I'm SO sorry you are having to deal with this. Please know we'll be here when you are ready to talk. I'll be praying for you as you start to grieve your sweet Grace.

Thank you to AlexAiden Mommy for my beautiful siggie!

I am sorry about your baby. I would try cold cabbage. That's what doctors recommend.

I am so sorry for your loss. I only used a tight bra and wore it all the time. It definitely helped. At times I even took a warm shower when they were too painful. We are all here for you when you want to tell us more about your sweet little Grace.
Thank you Mistyx5 for my siggy.

I used cabbage leaves in my bra to help dry me up. My milk was fully in and it worked wonders so i highly suggest it, it also takes away the pain of engorgment
