I know I'm not around that often, but I wanted to share a piece of myself with you ladies. I write a regularly on my blog at Grieving.Momma. Here you can read Kaiya's story, my thoughts, fears and hurdles as a SIDS mom, and some random thoughts. Also, you will find on May 8th, 2011, a slide show of a few pictures of Kaiya's Memorial Garden, from dirt to beauty. This is how I spent my first mother's day. It should have been my first as a mommy, with little gifts from a 10 month old, spending the day playing and celebrating with her. Instead, I spent the entire day digging and planting flowers in a garden of memories, celebration, hope and tears. Enjoy.

(formerly babybound on JM)

Thank you Alethia for my siggy!

She's beautiful. I'm so, so sorry. I know you must be missing her so much. I wish no one had to go through this kind of trial. Your garden looks beautiful. I hope it will bring you comfort.
