Boiling should work pretty well. I'd wash them super well afterwards. If you have any RLR use that. Or just wash and rinse till you see no bubbles.

gotcha. I finally finished the whole boiling process. I'm out of RLR, but I filled the sink up with HOT HOT water and threw in a little rng. I'm gonna let them soak for a while, then I'm gonna rinse rinse rinse lol just about all of my inserts are microfiber, and I'm sure some have probably reached then end of their life anyways.

I'm on my second rinse. I boiled, then soaked in RNG + a teeny bit of dawn for 1 hour. Then, I hand washed/rinsed with a teeny more bit of dawn. My first rinse in the washer was pretty bubbly, but not too horrible. I'm finishing up my 2nd rinse, and I've still got some bubbles, so I'm gonna do a spin and hopefully one final rinse. Guess I had a lot of unknown build up
