So I have been struggling with ways to night time diaper without causing an awful rash on my boy's bum. He has been getting horrible blistering and scabbing rashes, and the only thing that stopped them was using sposies at night.

Last night I put him in a double stuffed pocket and covered his bum in corn starch, and he woke up without the tell tale warning redness. Is it ok for my diapers to use it nightly though? Will it cause build up?

Corn starch does not cause build up, I am 95% certain. It dissolves in water. That's great that it helped so much at night!! I guess he just needed a bit of a barrier?

I've been told to use corn starch instead of baby powder, and it came from cloth diapering moms...so I am assuming it's ok?

Corn starch should be just fine for the diapers. However, corn starch can feed a yeast rash. If he's got any signs of yeast, hold off on the corn starch. Aside from that, go for it!

Max's old pedi (who CDed his kids/grandkids) always told me to use cornstarch, and it never caused issues.
