I know its really early to be thinking of this...
But if I don't post it now I may not remember to ask again...

I REALLY want to try cloth diapering this time...(assuming baby sticks around)
but how exactly does it work? I tried looking through your stickies and couldn't find what I was looking for...

I looked them up before, and there are the cloth diapers, and then there are like "pockets" that snap onto the inside of them. How does that work? Do you have to check baby every 5 minutes to see if they need a change?

The way I am thinking is that these plastic pocket type things, holds the babys urine and bms... but wouldnt that cause a diaper rash if not caught right away? how does it "stay in" per say when the babies are more active....??

Sorry if this is silly... I have never tried them before.

Go to this website:

Watch the videos and read the introductions to the different cloth diaper types. You have much to learn, my friend Searching youtube for "cloth diaper intro" or "tutorial" may also help. There are many types out there and the technology is very advanced past the "plastic pants" era!
