Hello, I am new I just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Nikki, I have a seven week old son named Jack. I am new to cloth diapering. I wanted to cd from the beginning but I just now got around to it.

I bought some AIO Kushies last night, they seem to work well, but he's only wore two so far. I was thinking about picking up some prefolds and diaper covers next time I'm out aswell, what kind of diapers would you suggest?

Hopefully cding will work out for us.

Here's my cutie:

Aw, Jack's adorable - he's got a great smile I have a Jack too - 6 years old already, holy moly I can remember him that small like it was yesterday!

I have seen a kit containing Bummis Super Whisper Wraps and Bummis cotton prefolds, looked good to me, I have no info on their prefolds but I love our Bummis covers. Gerber prefolds are easy to find but a lot of people don't recommend those, sometimes they have batting in them and are not very absrbent, only good for burp cloths. The best prefolds are had online. My personal hands down favorite are the ones I got from Green Mountain Diapers. http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/diapers.htm
Welcome to cloth diapering!

He's too cute! And his bum looks great!

I suggest CPF's. I have Gerber msyelf, but they aren't very absorbant and the poo goes straight thru them and on to the cover. I got mine from here. I ordered the premium's and they do a great job for both my 6 month old and 2 year old.

I use Bummis Super Whisper Wraps, but have seen but not used and read good things about Swaddlebee's ABC Wraps.

You gotta add some Cubbie's to your stash!

Hi Nikki! Glad to see you here! Jack looks great in his fluf.

I am going to use prefolds and covers mostly, but I also have some WAHM (work at home mom) made fitteds (these also need covers) For covers I have one berry plush cover mostly for nighttime use since these are thick covers, and I've got oe thirsties cover that I like so much I have 4 more coming. Also I ordered 7 bum genious one size diapers to use for when he is a bit bigger, as these are supposed to be GREAT and are on sale right now.

If I could afford it I would do all THirsties Fab Fitteds and Covers. They are awesome and come in great colors! I have one fab fitted.

My stash is just about complete, I just want some Cubbies still really bad!

Hi,

I am still new to cd as well, although I did cd my daughter 5 years ago, I use unbleached pf and covers, and I just love it, it's really easy and now that i have my snappi it's even easier and I can get a pretty trim fit too... DH prefers AIO but that's cause they are easy for him!!
