But I really need to gain weight! I'm coing up on a year and I still have people (including my folks) wondering if I'm still "sick". Not just because of that but, I want to look how I feel which is HEALTHY. I just don't look like it right now and it makes me sad.

At the same time, I'm afraid to.

That's all. My brain is everywhere right now

Hang in there!!! it's a process for sure. before i had DS - i had started and was in recovery but didnt' really look like it to my friends and family. Give yourself time to gain weight in a Healthy way - so you don't freak out and feel like crap about it - so you know - hey i did it eating healthy food and this is the weight my body wants me at. You can add extra healthy snacks to your diet - like celery wit p/b and raisins, or an extra snack of hummas and pita. slip a little extra 200 to 300 calories in your diet and you'll SLOWLY gain until your body platues and feels at a norm. I totally understand being afraid to - and afraid to go over board - which is why i suggested the extra snack - it's nothing big but over time will give you what you need to be at what your body feels is healty.
